The official rules and regulations for Tempe Diablo Stadium are found on this page, and a sign seen outside of the Angels' spring training stadium is pictured. Some of the policies on it, and those listed on other signage on stadium grounds, are the basis for what you'll find below.

Tempe Diablo Stadium regulations sign Tailgate parties are permitted, but charcoal grills are prohibited. No outside caterers are allowed. Consumption of alcoholic beverages within the stadium's parking lots is prohibited.

In and out parking is not permitted (once you leave, you have to pay to park again). Overnight parking is not allowed.

RVs can park in the stadium's general parking lots. The cost is $25.

Fans are prohibited from bringing beverages or alcohol into Tempe Diablo Stadium, except for 1 liter (or less) of water per person in a factory sealed plastic bottle. Also allowed: juices in box or pouch form.

No outside food vendors allowed (meaning McDonald's, Subway, Taco Bell, etc.). So food purchased from restaurants must be eaten before entering the stadium.

Fruit is permitted but must be sliced prior to entry.

Strollers, diaper bags and baby formula are allowed as long as they accompany an infant.

Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8" in size cannot be brought inside.

Lawn chairs and lawn or golf umbrellas are prohibited.

Other specifically prohibited items are cans, glass bottles, thermoses, ice chests, or hard containers of any size. Soft-sided coolers are also banned.

Animals are not permitted in the stadium with the exception of certified service dogs for fans with disabilities.

No smoking is allowed anywhere within the stadium (per a city code regulation).
